2024-03-07

The newly purchased stainless steel pot is indeed very attractive. The bright white appearance and smooth surface are undoubtedly eye-catching. However, over time, the surface of the pot begins to lose its luster. Those black and yellow stains are like stubborn enemies that bother us. But don’t worry, cleaning them doesn’t require complicated steps or expensive cleaning products. In fact, this problem can be easily solved with just white vinegar and table salt, which are common in our homes.

First, we take some white vinegar and apply it evenly on the surface of the pot with a sponge or soft cloth. To help you see the results more clearly, I decided to only clean half of the pot. After applying the white vinegar, we sprinkle some salt on it. Table salt acts as an abrasive here, helping us remove those stubborn stains.

Next, we take a paper towel and apply it directly to the area sprinkled with salt and white vinegar. In order to make the paper towel adhere to the pot surface better, we can press it slightly harder. Then, pour some white vinegar on the paper towel to make sure the paper towel is completely moist.

Now, we let this combination sit for about 10 minutes or so. During this time, the white vinegar and table salt will work together to gradually dissolve and remove stains from the surface of the pot. At the same time, paper towels will also absorb some stains and moisture.

After the time is up, we gently peel off the tissue. At this time, you will find that the stains on the applied area have been significantly reduced. Next, we use a sponge or soft cloth to gently wipe the surface of the pot to help remove remaining stains.

After wiping, we dry the pot with a clean towel. In this way, a clean and bright stainless steel pot is presented in front of our eyes. Compare the results before and after cleaning. You will find that this half of the pot noodles is like a new life, glowing with its original glory.

This method is not only simple and easy to implement, but also low-cost and very suitable for our daily household cleaning. Moreover, it is not only suitable for stainless steel pots, but also for other metal kitchen utensils, such as iron pots, aluminum pots, etc.
